Snack: Rainbow Fruit Ice Cubes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fruit like sliced grapes or berries
  • Water

Directions for Preparation

  1. Wash the fruit. If using larger fruit, slice into smaller pieces.
  2. Place fruit in each slot of an ice cube tray.
  3. Fill each slot with water.
  4. Freeze for 4 hours.

These colorful and fruity ice cubes make drinking water fun. It also exposes kids to fruit without pressuring them to eat it on its own. Try to serve water with these ice cubes in a clear glass or bottle so kids can watch the ice cubes slowly melt and release the fruit
