Snack: Banana Berry Smoothie

  • 1 cup yogurt, any flavor
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1 cup berries
  • ½ cup unsweetened juice or milk

Directions for Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender. Cover and puree until smooth. Serve.

Dark blue, purple berries like blueberries and blackberries have a natural plant chemical called anthocyanin. It works as an anti-oxidant to improve heart health and improve insulin sensitivity. Bottoms up!
